I'm sorry but I don't support it,not one bit,If your submitting stock to D.A it doesn't belong to you,it's DeviantArt's.
You can't whine and complain about it being public domain,if you don't like the terms and service, then DON'T submit,it's as simple as that.
I don't care if your a long term stock artist, you can't be here for years and THEN all of a sudden start to protest against D.A,where's your morals?
I'm against Stock protestors, you can get angry all you like but I'll state my opinion, and whether you like it or not,Stock artists provide DD'S,Features and whatnot,so Why get angry.
Don't expect D.A to change just for a few people when their are thousands of artists here that are very willing to post their stock, not caring if it's public domain, just as long as their credited.
So take a FUCKING lesson from other people,
Stop WHINING FFS....
As D.A states if YOU haven't read the terms & service you should!
Section II
16.Copyright in Your Content
deviantART does not claim ownership rights in Your Content. For the sole purpose of enabling us to make your Content available through the Service, you grant to deviantART a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, distribute, re-format, store, prepare derivative works based on, and publicly display and perform Your Content. Please note that when you upload Content, third parties will be able to copy, distribute and display your Content using readily available tools on their computers for this purpose although other than by linking to your Content on deviantART any use by a third party of your Content could violate paragraph 4 of these Terms and Conditions unless the third party receives permission from you by license.
and ALSO FAQ#226 Does DeviantArt own my art?
The Submission Agreement explicitly states that you, as the original artist, retain any and all rights appropriate to your artwork at all times. These rights include, but are not limited to, the full and exclusive copyrights to your original artwork. By agreeing to the Submission Agreement what you are really doing is granting deviantART the basic permissions we need in order to display, showcase, and make your artwork available to viewers using the various on-site systems and tools.
At no time do you lose ownership or any of the exclusive copyrights granted to you by law on any deviation or scrapbook submission which you make to deviantART
DeviantART will not use your work for any project without first consulting you and obtaining your consent.
Which I believe means you give D.A permission to showcase your images regardless whether it's a manipulation, digital art,a drawing or photography ON DEVIANT ART...
I'd love to Debate you got something to say?
Say it,My opinion you don't like it? Shove it,everything YOU submit on the internet is PUBLIC domain whether you like it or not.
I say if you don't like it then don't post and I will say this a MILLION TIMES.
